BridgePort Brewing Company is helping to redefine the urban craft brewery experience with an internationally award winning product line, new product releases, and our Ale House and newly opened bridgeport brewpub + bakery. Since the opening of our brewery in 1984, Oregon’s Oldest Craft Brewery™ has grown to be one of Portland’s most popular breweries and treasured local brew pubs.
The brewery and adjacent brew pub are located in Portland’s historic Pearl District at 1313 NW Marshall Street. Our building, a former rope factory, is more than a century old. We’re maintaining its heritage as a vital part of the Pearl District today. As the new neighborhood has risen around us, BridgePort continues to provide the neighborhood and the city with new ways to experience our fine ales. Our Ale House is located in SE Portland in the historic Hawthorne neighborhood, providing neighbors and visitors a revitalized brew pub experience.
BridgePort produces a variety of international style ales, including IPA. BridgePort’s beers are naturally conditioned in the bottle, keg, or cask from which they are served - they’re never force carbonated. The natural conditioning creates ale that is smooth, naturally carbonated, and full of flavor. Other traditional ales in the BridgePort portfolio include ESB, Black Strap Stout, Ropewalk Amber Ale, Blue Heron Pale Ale, our heritage beer, and our winter seasonal Ebenezer Ale.
